Eco Finish
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to impregnate the outer fabric. They have been criticised for not being degradable, accumulating in the body and being suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has a clear commitment not to use PFC at all.

Green Shape
Green Shape is the VAUDE seal of approval for products that are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. Bluesign is the world’s strictest standard for environmental protection, consumer protection and occupational safety. All environmentally relevant production aspects are critically reviewed and permanently optimized: Material input, energy, water, waste water, exhaust air, noise, waste, handling of hazardous substances. Bluesign approved fabric is awarded to products that consist of at least 90 % Bluesign-certified materials.
