You can remove your gear from either the top of the front of the main compartment. A sleeping bag or the like fits in the separate bottom compartment and everything you need close at hand can go in the front pocket. Side pockets are accessible without taking the pack off. A daisy chain and adjustable compression straps offer plenty of attachment options for additional gear. There’s even a replacement buckle under the lid – just in case.
