The lightweight Black Diamond Trail Shock Pro trekking pole from the Trail series is designed for versatility and year-round use. It also offers the benefits of our shock absorbing Control Shock technology. With our new SmashLock technology, the pole can be made ready for use or stowed very quickly. With the SmashLock mechanism, the telescopic pole is simply pulled apart and locked into place with a clearly audible click (the FlickLock Pro system remains locked when pulled apart). When pushed together with the FlickLock Pro open, the tip of the stick is pressed firmly against the floor to unlock the SmashLock. With the Control Shock system inside the handle, even hard shocks are progressively absorbed in four stages. This prevents the stick from jumping back even on very uneven terrain. The dual-density grip has been softened with rubber and redesigned for comfort. The new Solution hand strap is borrowed from our innovative harness technology for a safer grip. Its wider contact surface ensures greater safety and better handling on steep terrain. The redesigned FlickLock Pro adjustment system is now lighter and easier to use, and features a more durable aluminum construction. The interchangeable carbide Tech Tips provide a secure grip on all terrain surfaces, whether forest or rock.
